Clinical observation on the triple external therapy of traditional Chinese medicine for 40 cases of diabetic foot with grade 0

Objective:To evaluate the curative effect and safety of point-application,point injection,foot massage with Chinese medicine for diabetic foot with grade 0.Methods:Totally 80 patients were randomized into treatment group and control group with forty in each.The treatment group accepted point-application,point injection,foot massage with Chinese medicine,while the control group accepted routine treatment of diabetic foot.Both groups were scored before treatment and at the 14th after the treatment.Then the score results were statistically analyzed.Results:The clinically-controlled,excellent,effective and ineffective cases were 6,16,15 and 3 in the treatment group,while 2,8,17 and 13 respectively in the control group.The total effective rates of the treatment group and control group were 92.5% and 67.5% respectively,the difference between was statistically significant(P0.05).During the treatment,we observed 1 case scalded slightly on the back of the foot skin in treatment group;after advised to adjust the temperature of water solution,he persisted in the treatment.Conclusion:Point-application,point injection,foot massage with Chinese medicine was safe,effective for diabetic foot with grade 0,meanwhile,it was simple operation and worthy of promotion.
