Variational elliptic problems at double resonance

We apply variants of the Mountain Pass Lemma without the (PS)-condition as developed by M. Schechter to the study of Semilinear Dirichlet Problems at Double Resonance.N = 1, 2. As for the potential F (x, t) ⌘ R t o f (x, ⌧ )d⌧ , we shall consider the limitstaken in the pointwise sense.Problem (1) with the conditionis known in the literature as of double resonance type.
