In Situ Monitoring of Grouted Electrolytes

We describe conductivity measurements of grouts flooded with water and in contact with a sink that consists of pure water. The conductivity measurements were designed and carried out in parallel with present quality verification methods and standard leach tests of the nuclear waste management industry. For the first time, we show that the method of replacing intrusive chemical analysis with conductivity measurements of the leaching samples yields equivalent results.
