The Cultural and Physiological Characters of the Pediococci

SUMMARY: The cultural and physiological characters of 89 strains of pediococci have been studied. Proposals are made for extension of the genus and its subdivision into two and possibly three groups. The reactions of eleven strains of Aerococcus viridans were also investigated.
