Ultrastructural features of endometrial carcinoma were compared with those of normal functional endometrium. Tumor cells exhibit various morphological changes. Nuclei and nucleoli reveal structural modifications which can be related to active protein synthesis and hormonal status modification. Various cytoplasmic morphology was observed, but none of these changes can be interpreted as a specific cancerous modification.
