作者:Jean M. Lucas-Lenard, P. Tao, Anne‐Lise Haenni · 发表于:Cold Spring Harbor Symposia on Quantitative Biology · 年份:1969 · DOI:10.1101/sqb.1969.034.01.051 · 被引用次数:50 · 研究领域:RNA and protein synthesis mechanisms、Bacterial Genetics and Biotechnology、Bacteriophages and microbial interactions

Two aspects of polypeptide chain growth will be discussed. The first will deal with the relation between the aminoacyl-tRNA binding factors, Tu and Ts (Lucas-Lenard and Lipmann, 1966), and the second with the release of discharged tRNA from the ribosome during polypeptide elongation. These experiments were carried out with soluble factors from Pseudomonas fluorescens and ribosomes from Escherichia coli. Polyphenylalanine synthesis directed by polyuridylic acid (poly U) was the assay system used.
