A new node-disjoint multi-path routing algorithm of wireless Mesh network

Against large overhead of routing discovery and change of topology in Wireless Mesh network, a new nodedisjoint multi-path routing algorithm of wireless Mesh network - NDOUTE is proposed. This algorithm is based on AOMDV, introducing the source route ideas of DSR. The new addition of “source routing sequence” and “broadcasting node table” in RREQ, RREP packet avoids the reverse routing loop, provides multiple independent paths for destination node as much as possible, and reduces computational complexity of routing calculation of destination node. Experiments show that the NDOUTE algorithm is better than AOMDV in routing overhead, packet loss rate and average delay time.
