Ultraviolet (UV) irradiation induced atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) was performed to graft poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) onto poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF) and obtain copolymer (PVDF- g -PMMA).
