This Chapter contains a short summary of the definitions and results from the general theory of functional completion which are needed in the rest of the paper.It is taken from [1] but it also contains a few minor observations which are not included in [I], For simplicity, only complex spaces are considered.The changes which must be made in the real case are quite trivial.
