Communications in an Out‐patient Setting

Recently there has been much interest in the problem of communication between doctors, nurses and patients, (Ministry of Health, 1963). In an attempt to throw some light on one aspect of the problem, it was decided to investigate patients' memories of what the doctor had said to them in an out‐patient clinic.
