SUMMARY During 30 years clinical experience in equine obstetrics, certain conditions have been studied in some detail and a few of those which are of importance to the equine practitioner are discussed here. The pathogenesis treatment, and prognosis of these conditions is emphasised. RÉSUMÉ Au cours de 30 années d'expérience clinique en obstétrique équine, certaines conditions ont été particulièrement étudiées.
