Synthesis and properties of visible light responsive g-C 3 N 4 /Bi 2 O 2 CO 3 layered heterojunction nanocomposites

A g-C 3 N 4 /Bi 2 O 2 CO 3 layered heterojunction nanocomposite exhibits more effective separation of photogenerated electron–hole pairs and a stable chemical structure, thus showing higher photocatalytic activity and stability.
