Summary It was confirmed that antigenic differences exist between methylcholanthrene-induced sarcomas of recent origin and their isologous hosts. No similar differences were demonstrable with spontaneous carcinomas and lymphomas of recent origin, while long-transplanted lines could provoke incompatibility reactions, probably due to genetic deviations between host and tumor in the course of time.
